Aha Psychosocial Services and Mercy Corps LI-WAY has concluded a project agreement to establish a Career Development Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training trainees and graduates in Addis Ababa. This is initiated with the intent of addressing the skills gaps where some of the TVET graduates could not secure employment even in highly demanded jobs.

The objectives of the CDC are:  

• To serve as a hub for psychological testing and assessment, vocational guidance and counseling services, training and capacity building.


• To build the capacity of TVET colleges, job-matching service providers and employers so as to facilitate employment opportunities for TVET graduates through outreach program.


• To provide center based vocational guidance and counseling services for needed TVET graduates.
