Birtu Web Portal has three core functions. First, it provides information for job-seekers to update them about the available jobs and requirements, second it avails profile of job-seekers with skill sets about their interest, attitude, soft skills, work ethics, and work values and finally it opens an opportunity for employers, job- matching service providers, and job-seekers to explore opportunities on placement, recruitment/selection and further career development services. There is also an opportunity for JMSPs and employers to post vacancies that need to be filled by the target.
Thus, Birtu Web Portal is designed for job matching with reduced job search cost, information on job-search, job exchange, and job postings.
Job seekers can develop their own curriculum vitae using the template designed for this purpose.
They can also assess themselves using a digitalized Job Readiness Test (JRT) with analysis for each dimension of the test. Based on JRT results, job-seekers can have interpersonal communication and self-assessment about their identified strengths and gaps that need further intervention for their employment or personal development.
